Halloween today and Jeannie's 36th birthday. I remember the day she was born although I wasn't living in Corpus Christi at the time but was in Arlington. I stayed awake all night just thinking about my first grandchild..What a wonderful feeling! I've missed so very much in not being able to see my sons and grandchildren and great grandchildren...hat makes me so sad and depressed.

Oh my-It's October !!
Wow--where have the months gone. Have I been so busy to have neglected this blog? Well, guess so..gotta do better in the future.
Not much going on in my dull life..bought a new cooking range and a new computer. That's something I guess..Will add some things, maybe, soon.

June 9, 2008--how time flies
I can't beleive how time flies...no posting since April..Not much happening, trying to learn new effects with PSP and making new background tiles...Also Flaming pear Flexify and KPT's Fractal maker...now that's a great little filter...finally found a tutorial for it...but haven't played around much with it yet...also downloaded another fractal program, it's a stand alone, and not connected to PSP...it does more I think.
Well, some of my scrap making friends are stopping their freebies, as their paid scraps are being passed around...

Good Morning
Saturday today...Woke up at 2:30 AM. Growing cherry tomatoes in my AeroGarden and had to replace the float for the "add water here", as the red light kept blinking...What a surprise to see that there was a tiny little tomato hidden in the leaves...Saw only one but hopefully more will be arriving daily from now on...Planted 9 weeks ago...and should have a full crop by 14 weeks..can hardly wait.!!!!!
Temp will be about 88 degrees today and a chance of showers in the evening...need to mow the dandelions down in the front yard..they have completely taken over the lawn.

Welcome
My first blog...I'm so excited and hope to learn how to use it quickly...the weather today is warm and muggy and temperature is expected to top out at 86 degrees...Summer's coming!
